37" JVC bargain?

Bought a JVC 37XM48 or X688 in some stores for $400 open box.Sosaid they tested it before putting it out.Have not had a chance to try it at home yet though it was working in the store.Anyone have any experience with this model or similiar sized TV JVC sets?
